Manage Private Key
This is where Keygloo troubles the user as much as other traditional systems do. It is solely the responsibility of the user to protect the confidentiality of his private key. If your private key is compromised, it is advisable to cancel it, get a new number and inform your near and dear about the change.
Keygloo provides the user with the option of protecting the private key with a default password. However, it is recommended that the user should change it at the soonest. Protect your password with a good password and remember the password. If you forget this password, your encrypted files are lost forever
Keygloo however offers one way out of this potential disaster. You can take a printout of your private key using the Keygloo Manager. |

If you do this, you can still recover your private key after losing the password. This is however no trivial process and requires some patience.
In Keygloo, the private key is present in the encrypted form inside a file named <keygloo number.kgp>. Alternately, the private key can also be transferred into a file named <keygloo number.kgf>. This file contains the profile of the user. Both the private key and the profile can be exported out of a system or imported into a system easily using the Keygloo Manager. |
