During installation, if you are getting a new Keygloo number, Keygloo has to register this number with the Keygloo server. You have to be connected to the Internet for this. You will be unable to get a Keygloo number until you complete the registration step.
So if you are not connected to the Internet at the time of installation, you will get this error.

You will also face this problem if you are connected to the Internet through a proxy server and use DHCP to get an IP address. This is a known bug and will be corrected at the earliest.

You will not be able to register a new Keygloo Number if you are using the computer as a guest. This is because guest users have limited access to resources provided by the OS. Although you can install Keygloo with user permissions, this is also not advisable as the Keygloo toolbar may not attach itself to the browser successfully. This is true of any toolbar that you may wish to add to your browser. So switch to Administrator permissions to complete installation successfully.

In Windows 2003, if you are using proxy pac authentication to access the Internet, Keygloo may not work correctly for you. This problem will be corrected at the earliest.

You can use the Keygloo Manager to uninstall Keygloo. In the Keygloo Manager, choose the 'Uninstall' icon and click the 'Uninstall' button.
Alternately, you can do the following.
1. Click 'Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Open "Add / Remove Programs".
3. Choose Keygloo from the list and click 'Remove' . |
