We do not access any e-mail you send using the Keygloo Service because only you control the encryption process and who has access to any information that is encrypted.

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you access our website or when you use the Keygloo Service.

Information this site collects

(i) Keygloo Service registration information

The registration process for our free Service and associated software utilities asks registrants to provide us with first name, last name, gender, age, country, zip code and email address. The Service stores the registrant's public key in its public key server for easy access and availability in a secure manner to the Internet community.

(ii) General, non-personally identifiable information

Domain names and IP addresses may be logged for statistical and administrative purposes only. Your IP address is not linked to your email address or your Keygloo Number.  This information helps us in assessing the number of users at any given point of time accessing the Service or the web pages that get more visits and provide better services to suit your needs. This information is collected in aggregate form and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Keygloo Service

The information we collect from our registration process is used to verify ownership of an email address using ‘ Mail-From ' authentication. Email addresses may be logged for services, support, statistical and administrative purposes only. Please see below about our policy on sharing information with third parties.

Keygloo Number

The Service helps you to create a public and a private key seamlessly on registration. Keygloo automatically generates and assigns a Keygloo Number for you. e.g. 3567902890. The registration process is authenticated using your e-mail ID and the pass-phrase received by you from Keygloo. Your Keygloo Number is associated with your Public Key. Your Keygloo Number and Public Key will be stored in our Public Key Servers. You own your Private Key; it is generated in your computer and thereafter you are responsibile for the security of your Private Key. Keygloo Service does not maintain a copy of your Private Key.

In other words, your e-mail ID will be associated with the Keygloo Number and allow others to send encrypted communication to you. Keygloo Number is also used to encrypt data in your desktop environment.

Email Addresses 

Users of the Keygloo Service will receive, by email, occasional updates on newly released versions of the System. To opt-out of receiving promotional notices, click the “unsubscribe ” link at the bottom of any promotional notice.

Use of your email address

Keygloo uses your email address for the following purposes:

•  Help facilitate seamless public key exchange for confidential communications

•  Contact you about the Keygloo Services or the Site

•  Respond to feedback received on the functioning of the Service

Sharing of information

We will not disclose the contents of your Keygloo profile or any part of your account unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

1. Comply with court order or other legal process
2. Protect the rights or property of Keygloo
